Longparish Church of England Primary School (Aided)

Health, Safety, Behaviour and Well being

We do to great lengths to ensure that all children are healthy, safe, emotionally secure and behave well whilst at school.

Children are well behaved and show our Core Vales of Excellence Friendship and Respect. Most of the children's behaviour is outstanding at all times. Children are praised and encouraged to behave well, with staff modelling respectful behaviour.

The 2014 Ofsted report commented that:

"The behaviour of pupils is outstanding and contributes extremely well to their successful learning. In lessons, pupils enjoy their learning and demonstrate they can work successfully in different situations. Pupils' positive attitudes to learning support their strong progress. Relationships in the classroom are very good and there is a real sense that adults and pupils enjoy working together."

When doing physical activities, such as P.E.  we do our best to ensure children are safe. Please provide shin pads and mouth guards for rugby and hockey and please always provide the correct PE kit and sports shoes. If in doubt, please ask our advice. Thank you.
