Prayer spaces
We are very grateful to Reverend Russ and the church who arranged ‘Prayer Spaces’ for each in class. There were a multitude of different creative reflection spaces, ranging from :
- A calming bubble tube where children could write and stick a prayer watching rise into heaven.
- A world map with candles- where children would send prayers for countries they knew needed help
- A shredder- where children could think about things they wanted to let go
- Thank you, Sorry, Please prayers whilst hooking a duck
- Jumping from a boat- reflecting on finding the courage to jump even when you are worried.
The children absolutely loved this experience and we are looking forward to creating an opportunity in school to set up different areas for reflection as a Prayer Space occasion.
