School Council 

Our children feel safe to share their opinions and viewpoints gathered through: Pupil voice surveys, regular School Council Meetings and a School Council suggestion box. School Council also take on board the role of looking at what Charities the school should support and raise money for over the year.

Recent suggestions that have been actioned by the school council include:

• Having a ‘Joke Board’ – where children can post funny jokes.
• Having a cake decorating competition for Comic Relief.

The school council helped to introduce the 'Squirrel characters' to improve learning behaviours which can help children build on their resilience, problem-solving skills and other skills that make a better learner.
